The Wild Space
The Wild Space is a space to discover nature, explore and learn. It has been made possible by the wonderful generosity of the Lottery Community Fund and Southern Water. Our incredible shelter, designed by George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces team, allows use of The Wild Space all year round. It has come to life thanks to the skilled team at Barefoot Carpentry and our wonderful community volunteers

Forest & Fire
Fancy yourself as the next Bear Grylls? Learn some survival skills and find out how you would survive in the outdoors.
Free to attend, these evening sessions will provide an opportunity for young people Year 6 – 11 to spend time together outdoors, to connect with and learn more about nature and each other, lighting fires, outdoor cooking, and exploring.
This programme will aim to promote a desire to protect and conserve the natural world around us. If you have one, bring along a head torch for the winter months.
Wednesdays 4-5.30pm

Into the Wild
Come and share some time in the great outdoors through a participant-lead exploration of the natural environment.
A chance for adults to get together and take part in a range of activities to explore wildlife, enjoy the outdoors and meet their neighbours and friends at The Wild Space. These sessions are completely FREE and a chance to spend time in nature. Perhaps you spend a lot of time working on a screen, feeling isolated or maybe you just have an interest in wildlife – whatever your motivation, you will benefit from some time stepping into the wild!
Wednesdays 10-11.30am
