Join Caroline Williams, author of Move! The New Science of Body Over Mind to find out how to can use your body as a hotline to your mind, to change the way you think and feel.
Caroline will talk about why movement and exercise are not necessarily the same thing, and reveal the links between physical strength and resilience, core activation and stress-control. She’ll also discuss why your best ideas are only a short walk away and how to use “movement snacks” to get more movement into your day (trainers and lycra are optional!).
Bio: Caroline Williams is a science journalist, editor and consultant to New Scientist magazine. She lives in Surrey, where she gets her movement fixes from walking her very active dog, Jango, climbing with the family and cycling and paddle boarding with friends. She has also recently taken up street dance!
