In a world that tells us to put ourselves last, self-care seems impossible… and yet we need it now more than ever.
We are burnt out, frustrated and exhausted from doing ‘all the things’ and it never being enough. We know we need to look after ourselves, but we are too busy and overwhelmed to find the time.
How did we get here? Where did the fun go? What does self-care even mean??
In this talk we’ll examine why is it so hard for us to prioritise our needs and what happens to our lives, relationships and bodies when we don’t. We’ll discuss what caring for ourselves really looks like and how it is critical, not just to our own lives, but to the health and happiness of the people we love.
