Do you ever wonder what is happening in your sleep, why your sleep pattern can be so easily disrupted, or how the brain and body are set up to help us sleep well? Perhaps you struggle to get to nod off or to stay asleep, despite trying many things with varied success? Or, maybe you are simply interested to learn more about how you spend nearly a third of your life? (if you are lucky!)
In this 1-hour talk, we will explore some fundamental principles of sleep science, including normal sleep-cycles and the key biological processes that can support us to sleep well. You will be invited to ask questions and to consider the implications for your own sleep routines, or perhaps even contribute your own knowledge or personal experiences.
