‘Gut Health for Kids; Easy Food Ideas and Sugar Swaps’
As more research emerges about the ways our microbiomes affect our immunity, mood, sleep, anxiety, stress, cognitive function and more, we’re suddenly realising the importance of our children’s gut health but putting that into practice can be both difficult and daunting. Transitioning to a more diverse, whole food diet is a journey that takes time, knowledge and understanding; all of which are better achieved if we do it together, supporting and encouraging each other as we go. With that in mind, I’d love to invite you along to the Pavillions at Graylingwell, Chichester where I’ll be talking about the benefits of gut health for our families, easy food ideas for everyday life and lots of little hacks to both help reduce refined sugar/ ultra processed food and increase consumption of whole food.
Following 7 years of ill health due to a rare diagnosis, I began to research the link between gut health and depression only to discover that the health and diversity of our gut microbiomes is essential to almost every function of the human body. In the hope of resetting my own physical/ mental health and hoping itd positively impact both my son (ASD/ADHD) and my partner’s diabetes, I set about making changes to our life and diet. Now I am passionate about spreading the gut health word and using my experiences to empower other families to start their wellness journeys too.
